How we work

Everything on the site is written by the desk's staff and published under a staff byline. Figures come from the platforms' public statistics and are dated in each piece. Where we describe how a platform works, we link to the platform's own documentation and announcements rather than to second-hand accounts. Quotations are verbatim from the cited page.

We do not publish sponsored content, paid placements or affiliate links.
